The perfect handbag for every occasion. This unique and beautiful handbag was featured in the April 2009 issue of Vegetarian Times. It is handmade of 100% natural wild hemp from Nepal. The hemp fabric is nice and thick giving it a beautiful, firm structure. It measures 12" wide by 6.5" high and is 4" wide. The shoulder strap is approximatly 11" to the top-center of the bag when fully extended. The double shoulder strap has a firm round fit and is attached with 4 chrome colored D rings at each end. The main interior pocket has a heavy duty zipper closure and a small fabric flap that attaches with a magnetic button. Inside there are two pockets measure about 6" wide by 4" deep. One has a zipper closure and the other is open. There is a nice, heavy duty natural organic cotton lining. The hemp fabric is woven by hand on a pit loom in the remote western Himilyanan foothills. The bag is completely handmade by small cottage industry producers that adhere to a broad range of fairtrade, socially responsible labor practices in Kathmandu, Nepal.
