An elegant hand woven hemp and wool handbag made in Kathmandu Nepal by small cottage industry artisans. The hand woven wool fabric is from Kashmire. The bag measures 7" wide by 7" deep and is 2.5" wide. The shoulder strap hangs down approximatly 23 inches when extended from the top to the top of the bag. There is a zipper closure and a marroon cotton interior lining. The inside of the bag has a zipper pocket and an open pocket. The hemp fabric is hand woven on a pit loom in the remote northeastern Himilyana foothills in Nepal. The wool fabric in the center of the bag is a unique design and each bag will have a different pattern and color.
