An elegant hand woven hemp and wool handbag made in Kathmandu Nepal by small cottage industry artisans. The hand woven wool fabric is from Kashmire. The bag measures 12" wide by 12" deep and is 2.5" wide. The shoulder strap is adjustable and hangs down to a maximum length of 25 inches and a minimum length of 13 inches. There is a flap closure that is secured by a magnetic button, and a black cotton interior lining. The inside of the bag has a zipper pocket and an open pocket. Under the flap is a zipper pocket that runs the length of the bag. The hemp fabric is hand woven on a pit loom in the remote northeastern Himilyana foothills in Nepal. The bag has a light interior lining that provides structure and cushioning for cell phones, PDAs and small laptop computers. The wool fabric in the center of the bag is a unique design and each bag will have a different pattern and color.
